hollllaaa familia!!

Thanks so much for the package and all the food! my roomates appreciate it too! What is happening at home?! And how is being true empty nesters?? I love all thy mail but all you really talk about is me in them...

The mtc is greeeaaatt!! The temple reopened and we got to go to a session this morning. It was really hard to stay awake but it was still superrr great! We ate breakfast in the cafeteria there and it was super delicioso! Last thursday we got our travel plans for the dominican republic mtc. I leave august 5th at 3 am! Even though the mtc here is great I'm super excited to get out of here and go to the dominican republic. We hear rumors of weekly beach bbq's at the dr mtc. I get the feeling the rumors might not be true, but i'm still mega excited. I guess you get to go to some university by the mtc and walk around and contact and stuff with people who aren't actually missionaries! And I've heard it's all spanish there so I think the language will come a lot better there than here. I've learned lots of new vocab and been refreshed on some of the grammer, but I haven't really been taught anything grammer-wise that I hadn't already learned in HS spanish. So I'm excited to go to the DR for that reason toooooo! And I'm super duper excited to get to take a nap on the plane over there/ slash be in the real world! It's weird how secluded the mtc is. Everynight they call in over a intercom and tell us to go in our rooms and that it's quiet time. then 15 min later they tell everyone lights out. It makes me feel somewhat slightly like unto a prisoner. But a good kind of prisoner who is learning lots of useful new things.

In one of the halls here there's a picture of a missionary baptising someone in the ocean in the Dominican republic and it makes me soooo desireous to go over there!

We practice our lessons a lot but it's always just with volunteer members or or other missionaries. So I'm excited to teach a non member because I get the feeling teaching here is very realistic. Last week we taught a die hard catholic named Pablo and his brother Fernando who was hardcore atheist. We only made it 5 min in the lesson and then we made them play a different role since it hurt my brain cause I didn't know how to teach two people at once who were so different.

The devotionals are always way good. Last Sunday the speaker at the fireside showed a whole bunch of old LDS commercials and gave like short little thoughts with each one. Some of the commercials were super cheesey but it was fun to watch them! Yesterday the speaker was way good too! HE talked about all the different ways to invite the spirit. After each devotional our district always gets together and talks about highlights from the devotional and we talk about how we could apply those things to our district. Last night we ended up having a 60 min Oprah Winfrey session with a deeply enourmous 12 man heart-to-heart discussion. It was super good, and we all decided to start having a little less fun throughout the day. Sorry if these emails don't make sense, it's hard to type so fast and make coherent sentences and the computers keep freezing so we loose time.

Soccer is basicly the most exciting part of the day. It's the main thing I look forward to. I think it's helpful for the going to the dr to since it's 8009094585 degrees outside when we play. I saw braden come in last wednesday and I think there's a few friends from byu coming in tomorrow. last sat night I met with lots of friends from byu after all our planning and stuff and we took a ward picture! It's awesome seeing everyone all the time!

I'm thinking maybe you could wait to do a blog on my facebook untill I get out into the mission. Since even though everyday is super awesome here and I feel way happy, everyweek is about the same so I feel like I don't have many things to write. But could you put my dr mtc address in my facebook and write like mail here after august 4 or something... that would be most wonderful! Thanks so much for the mail and I love you!! i'm out of time..
