Hola!

Thanks so much for the letters padres! It's good to be able to go back to the residence halls and have mail to reeeeaaaddd. I think I can call but I'm not sure how it all works, but when we call I think it'll be pretty early in the morning.

I feel like I don't really have much to share in this email since everyweek is pretty repetitve here but it's still been great! But I met up with emilee and said goodbye! It was sad, but I'm super excited to be in the dominican republic. I feel like have learned a lot of spanish here but at the same time I'm not sure if I've came all that far, so I'm excited to be emersed in spanish! My companion and I have been listening to conference talks in spanish and I can somewhat kinda sorta understand what's happening most of the time but everytime we listen we can catch a little bit more.. And I can read preach my gospel in spanish and understand most of it, but I have the vocab of a 2.8 year old and it's really hard for me to form sentences so I hope I can survive the first few days in the DR. We started packing last night, and I think we're going to be really rushed in our packing. Usually elders take a afternoon off from classes to pack, but none of us really thought to do that and since today is P-day we're going to try fitting packing in between our letter writing and laundry.

I scored my first mtc soccer goal last week which was pretty awesome! The other day we played a macth of our zone vs the two other zones and we lost, but life is still goood. The talks and devotionals have been really great! Yesterday a really funny southern lady talked with a really thick southern accent, and her husband gave a really good talk about having faith and serving dilligently.

I've still been seeing lots of friends from BYU. Jackson left to Argentina yesterday on tuesday. And I saw Sam Swenson this morning before the temple. Every wednesday I always sit at the end of the cafeteria table closest to the entrance so I can watch all the new missionaries come in. I love it because I always see a few friends from byu and I'm excited to see Casey and Eric come in! I'm going to really miss seeing friends here and I'm really going to miss my teachers. They're both way cooool.

I don't think I need a need a new memory card. I can just send you pictures on email when I get a non mtc computer. but thanks for being a gran familia!!!

love Elderrr Young
